PRESS RELEASE - MUNICIPAL ELECTION COMMISSION - PALILULA MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY

The Municipal Election Commission Palilula, on the session held on May 14 2012 17:30 hours, determined the results of the election of councilors of the Assembly of Palilula, held May 6 and by-elections held on May 13 2012.In 47 polling stations of 65 095 registered voters, voted 33 525 inhabitants of Palilula which amounts to 51.50 percent. According to the number of votes received and state mandates in electoral lists, the following are: Pokrenimo Palilulu, Tomislav Nikolic (SNS, NS; PSS-BK, PS) 7697 votes and 7 seats won; Ujedinjeni regioni Srbije -Branislav Jovanovic, 5831 votes and 5 seats won; Ivica Dacic -Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS, PUPS, JS) 5218 votes and five seats won, Izbor za bolji zivot Boris Tadic, 3997 and four seats won, the Democratic Party of Serbia-Vojislav Kostunica, 2195 votes and won two seats; Cedomir Jovanovic - Preokret (LDP, SPO, Zaplanje my house, the Movement for-Nis) 1885 votes and won a one mandate won; Dveri- Za zivot Palilule 1800 votes and won one seat.
Electoral lists: Serbian Radical Party - Dr Aleksandar Martinovic with 1338 votes; Reformist Party-Prof Dr Milan Visnjic with 1098 votes, Ujedinjena seljacka stranka- Miloje Miletic - responsible for the peasants by 432 votes; Roma Party "Unity" - Rom Romese with 307 votes and the Citizens' Group "Joint Serbian Movement-Mr Zoran Jovic with 267 votes, they did not win seats.
According to Natasha Pecic Kostadinović, the president of Municipal Election Commission, Palilula Assembly has 25 members. The Municipal Election Commission of Palilula, within the prescribed time limit, all the mandates from the electoral lists will grant to the candidates according to the order, starting with the first candidate from the list. The processed data of the election results and electoral lists were published on the website www.palilula.eu.
